Almost all of the products listed on this page are mined or gathered locally. Some of them will vary from supplier to supplier, but they are generally very similar. Here is a listing of the products we can offer you today and a general description for each type of material.

Recycled Asphalt RoadbaseRecycled Asphalt Road base is made from asphalt roads, parking lots and driveways, that is crushed and sized for uniformity. When applied 2-3 inches deep on driveways and parking areas it will last 4-6 years, and often longer.

Recycled asphalt makes long lasting mud free driveways, parking areas and walkways. The sun and heat actually help it to re-bond and seal.


Mountain GraniteMountain Granite is one of the most popular types of decorative rock sold in the Denver area. It contains a mix of colors and is a distinctive landscaping material that will give your landscaping design distinction.


Granite Rip-rapMountain Granite Rip-Rap works well in a wide variety of applications. We are lucky in the West because there is such an abundant supply of this material. The mountains are literally made from this rock.

Rip rap is great for bank stabilization and difficult areas to maintain. It can be easily placed and is largely maintenance free.

Average size rock is 2 to 6 inches.


CobblestoneRiver Rock Cobblestone is a distinctive rock for specific uses such as; patio and walkway edging, retaining walls, plant beds, fire pits, steam beds and many other uses.

Cobblestone locally gathered in the front range is a good example that you will basically purchase the same rock from everyone. Cobblestone is mined from the Platte River Valley and there are only a few sources available.

Cobblestone is getting harder and harder to get locally because there is only so much of it to gather. Generally it is of uniform size and color in both the two to three inch and 3 to 6 inch range.


SqueegeeSqueegee is a 1/4" minus aggregate. It is about the size of a BB pellet, with a small amount of sand in it. It is the material size between concrete sand and pea gravel. It is used for dog runs, play grounds, walk ways, fire pits, landscaping and to blend with Sand in Horse Arena's and Round Pens.


Washed concrete sandWashed Concrete Sand It is great for sand boxes, kids play areas and dog runs.

It meets all specifications to make Concrete when blended with Cement Mix, and other forms of Masonry Grout.


Screened topsoilScreened Black Topsoil has good basic fertility, good organic matter and good for for Colorado soils.

Wherever you buy soil, soil mix, etc. in the Denver Metro Area, you will need to buy some vegetable or plant/sod specific fertilizer. There is no magic " Jack< and the Bean Stalk" soil or soil mix in Colorado.


Local River Rock is the most popular decorative rock sold in the Denver area. It is generally available in 1/2 and 3/4 inch sizes.

It is colorful and works well in any landscaping design.


Arena sandArena Sand is a washed non-spec sand, meaning it should not be used to make Concrete or Masonry Grout, but is good all other uses.

This is a generic sand that does not meet the specifications of washed concrete sand. It is suitable for general use but will vary in uniformity.


Crusher finesStructural Fill is an engineered aggregate product that is generally non-expansive. This means it does not contain expansive clays which are common in many front range soils and should be avoided when using under or around concrete due to the expansive nature of clay based soils.

It is is used horse stall base, foundation drainage, retaining walls, driveways and many other uses.
